Zygaena 1 Burnet

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 121120 ) : Zygaena spirea OF A moth active during the day: the spirea Zygaena (Zygaena filipendulae), also called in Zygaena filipendula moth is an insect of the family Zygaenidae. This moth is very active during the day. (See photographs taken in clearing of tall grass in hot (most grasses ...) on which the butterflies are bred.) This butterfly has 30 mm tones: black, dark green, dark blue on the wings. The inner wings are a very bright red. His body is brown with multiple reflections in a sunny ... It's a butterfly 'aposematic', which means it may have a danger for predators (birds, lizards, insects, etc..). As can be seen on different photos, it is distinguished by bright colors, this butterfly is toxic ... since it would hold a liquid containing cyanide. Marc.

Busy as they are, they offer a beautiful diagonal Zygaena clinging to the twig. : 12:

You see, you learn something new every day. I did what I was able to cry, this is not always easy to make a photograph, much can depend on it ... Marc. : 18:

Why we said that where there is Zygaena, there is no pleasure? After this mistake, recognize that this colorful butterfly is very photogenic. So busy, he left you time to refine your composition and focus.

Goodnight Chrisostome, there is no Zygaena which takes much less difficult to do what everyone else does! ... (Not a mistake, dear friend ... It's nature.) Yes, fairly calm corny but not really easy to shoot where she was. Anyway, I thank you for your great comment (and your photos too ...) Mark. : 19:
