I had missed this wonder... oh what a pity !
Although a slight over-exposure remains, the framing and the subject I like well !
Thank You Cathy !

And yes, at that time I knew not yet what was an overexposure, now I know : this is not to say that I know how to avoid it ! Thanks for your visit.

Very good composition : the foreground flower and the willow that give depth to the image magnified by the reflections of the cliff and finally the ruins of the castle to top it all off . I know the place well because I live in Poitiers !

I'm from Manresa, in the heart of Catalonia, approximately 75. 000 inhabitants. The climate is quite extreme, cold in winter (down to -10*) and heat in the summer (greater than 30°). The range I to 60 km. And the mountain (2000 m) 60 km.

Super, thank you for responding. I know a little about Spain : I went few time on vacation : it is a beautiful country but it is too hot for me in the summer. I will come back in the spring, Andalusia in particular. I love Barcelona, which is a very attractive town. Bravo for your French.
> Joan_pinkfloyd [G] [P] [C] >Reply Feb 12, 2012
I love that image, by the combination of the colors green and blue. What is green with vegetation and that is blue with the sky and the clear water of the river, And in the middle of two of the rock that made the separation. Very well, yes.

However I would be flattered by a frame that is slightly modified that I'm going to propose you in editing.

Catherine, the choice of your framing is excellent... All the elements are balanced, pleasant to look at.
There is this little overexposure... but really not annoying. Thank you.

Thank you for your opinion on this wonderful place. For overexposure, The cry did 2 edits, and the 2nd is very successful because it removes a bit of overexposure, while not deleting brightness to the rest of the photo. Thank you for your updates and favorites also !!!

It is true that it is beautiful... But the house is a little 'flash' ! Perhaps, could you slightly darken in post-processing ? It is very delicate, it... And not guaranteed !
 > Author Perronnet Catherine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply
Dec 04, 2011
If you do you are guaranteed not, I dare not even imagine what it could give with me !!! Therefore the house will remain 'flash'
