Beautiful portrait of this pretty bug ! I would have gladly swapped for a descending diagonal left/right ! The view from above is a little too flat.

The pushpin arrays (dolycoris baccarum )is a bug in the shield shape of the typical narrow shoulders without prominences on the side. It is of brownish color tinged with reflections of reddish, like on the photo. The chinch bug sucks the berries ( blackberries, raspberries, etc.). Completely harmless, however, if she feels threatened, she emits a secretion-smelling to scare the offender. Beautiful photo. (See photo report ,a view from below of this same beetle)
