Author 'Heleneoudot' (Id 62588 ) : It smacks of a tiny, as small as a despair of the painter but I do not know what it is.(by the way, how do you to remove a photo of the site?).

Too bad the frame cut a little part behind the flower, because the presentation is lovely: 4:: 6:.

She looks fragile, but this little flower has its sweet and original. Flower ISOlated with a black background allows us to just hang it.

It is really a shame to have cut the second ! Apart from that, the colors are very beautiful and the black background makes a perfect foil for the flower.

It is the flowering of a saxifrage of the shadow(saxifraga umbrosa), also known as, the despair of the painter, or coarse. It is a perennial herb, stem erect, robust, fully hairy-glandular.
The leaves are in rosettes flattened, stalked, fringed with long lashes, leaf blade ovate-oblong, green on the upper side and purplish red on the underside, crenate, bordered with a margin of transparent cartilage.
The flowers are on pedicels elongate and hairy, which have five sepals, a corolla broad, formed of five petals narrow, spreading, star, marked by white points on red or yellow at the base. The stamens are as long as the petals, filaments dilated at the summit, and anthers pinkish. Superb shot having allowed its identification
