beautiful cliché that 'speaks' the time : in fact, rust is a material in expansion, and you can feel the work of men.

This is a photo that speaks... Of the past, of the sea, of brave sailors, and the effort, the effort that it took as much to forge this chain to go through the suffering of life... This image touches me intensely...

It is a very good plan on this string ; the colours are bright and the shapes are harmonious.
I admire your picture which could lead us towards a beautiful subject of meditation

Thank you for your comment. These are often the images most simple that give reflection.

It is an evocative image that speaks to us of the punishment of the men, waves and storms, return-to-port : a material that is tough, such as its history, which I like the reliefs and the colors. Thank You Shark

In fact, the time goes by but, fortunately, the witness to the hard work of the Men rest. We who have a life that is facilitated by modern techniques, must not forget our seniors.

Despite the rust, with this picture, you're the strong link,: 18: Superb look

Thank you Florence... Er, sorry, Malafouine (this is the strong link made me confused !!!), for your comment. Often in a cliché, the deterioration of an object helps to give even more strength to the image.

Completely agree with you ! Without the rust, your shot would not have had this impact. The 'in spite of the rust' was an opposition fun with the 'strong link'. To you

Here is a photo very endearing, far from me the idea to stretch anything, these rings have the experience, you can hear their silence...

Thank you for your visit. These rings have, indeed, lived. It's been 20 years that they are built on the pier of Cavalaire-sur-Mer. By adding, without doubt, several more decades of hard work on a boat, I think they have a right to a well-deserved retirement.

With the rays of the sun on the whole , it makes me think of molten metal. I like this kind of photo.

I love this shot as well as the humor in your intro rust is a beautiful photo. You saw the two eyes in the lower left... They seem to be afraid to loosen up a bit !
