The condor is spread over the entire length of the Cordillera of the Andes. He lives at an altitude of 3 000 to 5 000 metres. It is a species that is sociable in spite of his behavior scavenger. Its beak is robust and powerful enough to allow to tear off pieces of flesh to the dead animal. Beautiful shot of this vulture !

They are the same in the westerns, but we don't see them as well a snapshot of a great perfection at all levels

Superb image of a Condor with its flange in ermine. The attitude of the bird is extra, the framing was impeccable and the sharpness at the top.

With the head and neck bare of dark purple color, with folds of skin hanging there and a kind of crest, it is the male 'Andean Condor' (Vultur gryphus). the Ones that we see come through the numbers in the westerns ! Very good documentary photo. BRAVO.

Very beautiful portrait of this scavenger, not feather on the head, but the neck of the coat is not bad.

I say perfect for the photo. It is very clear but question scavenger, I put 0/5, it has a really ugly head ! It is, perhaps, to the family of vultures?
