These hydrangeas have a wonderful, rose-tinted mauve. I imagine that the exposure suits them perfectly.
Congratulations and thank you for this superb shot.

Please make a tour in my gallery. Yes these hydrangeas are exposed to the north in a cool, damp place, as they like.

You're right, when a hydrangea is planted in a spot that suits him it grows with virtually no care !!! Thank you for your visit.

Certainly a hydrangea prolific with her 'pom poms' in a gradation of pink to purple clear. Is it possible for the next year we used the same blue ?
There is a fertilizer for it.

Thanks for your comment. The perennial relatives of the hydrangea are perennials for shade, so essentially, hostas bloom is past now, of arums and a few geraniums shadow. I don't know what this can give photo that my talent in this area is very limit! : 18:: 4:

Thank you Julie for your very nice comment. Behind the hortensia in fact there is a Camellia, two hostas, an arum and lis of the Madonna, then 4 other hydrangeas and a small bed of perennials for shade. But all this is very modest and not Grand that you say! : 18:: 4:: 5:

: 3: They are beautiful your hydrangeas, you must have a beautiful garden given what is in aercoit: 18: here, earth being essentially limestone, need to cultivate pot, I always have two, a pink and a blue, passing by all the colors... they are valiant, the rose has been plant by my mom 33 years ago in an old pot cast iron, I changed twice from pot and I never think of a him to fertilizer, ca does so not to give a multitude of flowers. : 6:

Cuckoo Ondine, thank you for your visit and bravo for your hydrangeas in pots! My garden is correct without more, because I'm not slave and when I have something to do or that we leave a few days or more, I do I care not. So I chose easy species to live. : 4:: 5:

+: Your hydrangea is splendid: 1:.
I would much like to put one in my home but I read everything and its contrary on this shrub.
Could you tell us about yours that is so beautiful?
Already at the level exposure, sunlight, mi-ombrage, or full shade?
You put in Earth Bruyère completely, partially or not at all?
To add you fertilizer?
Thanks for sharing.
-:You know why the photo seems fuzzy on the edges?

Please enjoy the beauty of this hydrangea. To answer your questions, my hydrangeas are plants in the North and Northeast and therefore partially ensoleilles and it is more than enough. There are species that like the great sun, but not people. I would add every year a little Heath soil has my garden soil is sandy rather, I never put fertilizer, however I passes through many. I have five and is that receives the most Sun, being in the Northeast that is the most beautiful and the most early.
The fuzzy edges of my photo is a phenomenon frequent in my home. For the moment, not knowing little in photography, I don't know why, but I decided to cultivate me in this area and therefore I will have the answer in some time! : 18:
