Very nice picture but for me what bothers me are the leaves that turn yellow and they fall.

The 'Datura' at the flowers that rise to the sky and its fruits are pungent. Of the same family and often confused, it is, on this picture of a 'Brugmansia' with the flowers pointing downwards, and fruit without the spice. Bravo Lessard for having made this correction. And again, congratulations and thank you to the author of the photo.

Very beautiful flower, but it is a BRUGMANSIA, we cut after flowering and come back for the winter.

At this time I enjoy with the photos I take of my datura but I do not know how to care for this winter, can you give me a pipe ? I specify well that it is the datura, because if I don't know the email sender, I put it all in the trash. Thank you.

This photo has allowed me to see the flower of datura which is very beautiful. I learned that it was hallucinogenic. I wanted to have in my garden in the afternoon but with grandchildren young enough it is better that I give up on this project.

> Géna >Reply Aug 07, 2007
I love the flowers of Datura. But I don't dare put them on my terrace because it is a plant that is dangerous. And I'm afraid for my grandsons.

> Jjmp007 >Reply Aug 06, 2007
The background is not the net but the flower is superb. Bravo.

A beautiful picture of this datura, which was a color more beautiful to my taste than the ones that I have seen and photographed in Spain. I hope for you she will give you lots of pretty flowers like this one. But it is true that its inclined position is not very natural.

Beautiful this flower of datura, the colors and sharpness are superb. The light that makes the flower translucent is really at the top. Bravo.

Beautiful flower that allows you to enjoy the colors and the shape elongated cone.

> Evalias >Reply Jul 10, 2007
This color is beautiful also. But I always see the flowers of datura in the vertical, looking down toward the ground... Have you rotated the photo ?

Despite my great age I come again to stretch and twist myself a bit (lol) but actually these trumpets look at the floor. So I angled my shot to try to make a diagonal harmonious.

With its bell shape, it is beautiful this flower of 'Datura' orange and it is well put in value by the effects of light. The entire plant is TOXIC !

> Marcel >Reply Jul 10, 2007
Beautiful flower, captured with a beautiful light that highlights the warm colours. A little more advanced, in the image to the angle would have been more efficient.
