Very beautiful presentation of these succulents, the sharpness is still present. Excellent photo.

After Panda, I add that it blooms at the end of 10 years. A huge stalk with yellow flowers in umbrella. The plant dies after but there are still many suckers, and life goes on. Cut down, this is for the aesthetics

It is a plant of the family of the 'Succulent' fairly high with large fleshy leaves and covered with spines : this could be 'the Agave American' (Agave americana). They are ornamental, easy to maintain and drought resistant. Beautiful photo : bravo and thank you.

I think it is the agave americana. It is a widespread species, a succulent plant whose height can vary from 1.50 m to 3m. A native of Mexico, in the persistent foliage, it has a rapid growth. Very easy culture and maintenance, agaves require very little care. They have only need of light and very little water.

If this plant dies after flowering, you did well to photograph them ! It is mid-way between a pineapple and a cactus but is better to not rub it in, this has to sting, and as for the taste !

These are surely remarkable agaves are cut at the base to give a kind or hold harmless the ground. This plant blooms only once and dies.
