This butterfly is the Brintesia Circis, nymphalidae family. Impossible to take in dorsal view : It always close to the wings as soon as it arises and do not open them to fly, such as many butterflies (Colias crocea in particular pisses me off !!! Because it is very beautiful on the back). Slight blur on the top of the wing but to get a very clear, it is necessary to strafe ! And yet... He has the wanderlust !

It is not easy to catch a butterfly. I know to have taken several... Beautiful photo. The Fan, I congratulate you, you're a real living encyclopedia.

it's a Pity that this butterfly has a head of mule, you'll get to take it with its wings open.

For better concealment, this butterfly has chosen a suitable environment, and he closed his wings ! Fortiche, but not enough, because one recognizes clearly in its white stripes on a dark background, and the ocellus on a white spot of the front wing : it is the butterfly 'Silenus' (Brintesia circe). Beautiful butterfly despite a décor bit rewarding !
