I would just like to clarify that, indeed, I have in no case sought to make a background with pure black. When I can avoid it, I prefer by far.
For my part, a black background is undoubtedly highlights the subject, but I think that we can no longer speak of a photo, strictly speaking, and I regret that one uses this technique to hide the backgrounds of the photos.
Why would you want to at any price to anesthetize the small details or the small defects? I do it from time to time because there is demand, but really I think it's a shame because there is more life in the photo and if you look at my first photos, they were 'gross' makeup !
