Identification > Le Fada de Marseille [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 14, 2010
I found, it is the brown honeyeater ((Lichmera indistinct or English Brown honeyeater). It is found in Australia and New Guinea. It is pale gray underneath, dark olive-brown above and has a long black beak curved like the photo shows. It feeds on nectar from flowers and insects. Nice plug: 1:: 6:

It is strange, last winter, I had a couple of birds of the same kind that came to feast in the feeder on the window of my kitchen. But, I can't not help more. Sorry !

Bravo and again ! Bravo for this bird Photo of a sharpness impressive. If I'm going to make a criticism (which I do not dare not to do too much) and that is not an when one knows the difficulty to get this kind of shot is that the bird does not stick out advantage background.

I'm Sorry, for the moment, I have not yet identified this beautiful bird. The most similar would be the 'Zostérops du Cap' (Palpebrosa.at virens) but the spout does not... you will still have to wait !
