We can consider that 'breaking the obelisk' it is to demythologize the symbol of the napoleonic wars. The Eiffel tower a little dimmed by the mist going in the same direction. We thus get the image of a place today, very lively and decorated heavily. Very nice composition.
I associate the photo of Acidezen which goes much further in demystification : the Eiffel tower at the top of a waste collection center next to a fence. I can not propose it in the photo linked, it does not.

I read the exchanges ! Bracketing 94 in bound had submitted 3 of these 4 elements as well as Denis 246 (among others) - photo added under the photo linked by my care - for a more refined. Make the bet to incorporate these 4 elements was not an easy task, you're well shot
A night obscuring partially the 'adverse' to the ground could have been interesting too, but the Tower lit would have been censored...

This is a shot that Parisians love very much, especially as the statues of the women of Concord are beautiful and have a proud port that should be their envy !
And when the sky is blue, it is an additional pleasure to go down to the docks and go see our Beautiful Iron Lady, closer !
Bravo for this beautiful photo.

This alignment of the statue, the obelisk and the Eiffel tower is a great classic photos of the place de la Concorde, moreover, by looking carefully we will find a few copies of the FEI (at least 3) the definition is good, I am at least on to the framing : I think that preference should be given to the vertical
format
, which avoids cutting the Obelisk, this one could be more detached from the statue.

For nearly 200 years that photography has been invented, and that many millions of photographers have captured the place de la Concorde from every angle possible and imaginable, it is obvious that I am not the inventor of this angle of view.
Should I for all ban me ?
My photo was originally in the direction of the height, and I chose to cut it to give it a more personal note, this choice can obviously not be unanimous, and you have the right not to like.
On the other hand the second part of your remark is not well founded, as to detach the Obelisk statue, it would be necessary to move the Obelisk itself, as if it is the photographer who travels, the Eiffel tower is obscured by the lamp post and it then has a photo downright failed

If I may, the tone of your response leaves me to think that you're slightly likely, calmons the game and drink fresh in Saint-Tropez (a junk movie, I grant you, but the titles were creative
) and the fact that other stereotypes exist, is not a negative value judgement, everyone treats it as he feels and no one to be like, and precisely this allows to make comparisons in terms of framing what brought me to say that I prefer a vertical
format
without cutting the Obelisk, which is not to say that I do not like (do not fall into the paranoid
) as for the second part of your response, I'm more than a question mark ??? Of course, that it is possible to vary the angle of view and play on the focal lengths, île-de-france, I made several shots of this triptych from the same place and I have pictures where the three elements are more detached, if you leave me your email in MS, I'd be happy to send you them.
