Hello Grouse... Beautiful shot of a 'bug' rather unsympathetic, since wood-boring It eats the wood which makes it sometimes dangerous for the solidity of the frames to which it tackles...

Thanks for the explanation which will save me time, because I was not leaning on the 'subject' ; this may explain it : it was actually placed on a wooden pole

Beautiful angle of view. A face-to-face meetings between the APN and the creature. So who will have the last word ? Fortunately, there was the competition because it would not have been able to appreciate this beautiful shot.

Nice catch actually, he is a capricorn. The depth of field is very well managed, I will have just led the shadows and cleared up a bit, otherwise it's all good

Thank you Jean Luc for your comment, I led a little bit because, since a few weeks only, I use LR, and I confess that I go groping... The bug blended in with the background, thinning, insect whitened too, then, I confess that I have done with moderation I think I didn't set the camera when I took the photo... is that... the technique... this is not really my thing... and yet... I am trying and I hope to progress see you soon.

Oh !!! A small monster decided and ready to defend themselves and even to attack. The macro is good and the net is positioned well, bravo (TB)

Thank you JM, you know, if it weren't for the contest, I would not have published, but... I like to participate in this contest, it is funny and it is widening a little the meninges !!! Finally... a little

A beautiful creature well set in terms of value, it makes me imagine a small robot, a alien

Yes JP, it is a prehistoric animal !!! Met by chance at a turn in the path, it scared me , but I still had the time to look at them straight in the eye !!!

A beautiful photo that will take the direction of the monthly contest I guess. The pdc is reduced to be well-managed and it seems that the star is evolving on the scene, .

to your discovery Grouse, I don't know anything about insects, but I think you're right : it is a capricorn or of the family . I see his eyes, and especially his claws !

Thank you Cathy for the confirmation of the kind of insect... it was in my 'reservations photos' since last summer ; it was nicely placed on a pole by the sea.
