It is not of the chayotte ! Don't eat it if you are not sure ! I was to compare my discovery with the true chayotte and this is not the same format nor the same texture of skin...

I confirm : toxic and climbing with small spirals to hang in there. But I can't quite put your finger on the name. It is found in the botanical garden in Quebec, in the section toxic.

It knew the wild cucumber cucumber but it is toxic.

I would have liked to know the name of this plant, we were younger wars of the simple-minded quills.

The tips in a corkscrew, this is what allows the plant to cling in order to climb comfortably. Hmmm... I'll take them to the cook with my zucchini Nice, tomatoes and peppers. Thank You Guylaine.

The thing makes me think of the fruit of the datura, wrap in less... I already ate a crowd favorite at the Meeting ! Nice picture instructive and verdant

I did well to wait for the passage of Panda, thank you. I'd see this 'thing' and the 'string' in decoration for the Christmas tree

I don't know, unfortunately, not the taste very delicate, it seems ! It is a climbing plant whose fruit, fleshy is the 'Chayote/Chayotte' ( Darling' at the Meeting !), a cucurbit like its cousins the pumpkin and the squash. It has the shape of a rather large pear in light green with spines. It is low in energy and is used in cooking by great CHEFS. The kinds of telephone wires in light green are useful for the fruit to announce their maturity ! Thank you and bravo.

Thank You Panda ! I have learned many things today : the name of the fruit and the usefulness of the 'kinds of telephone wires' ! Me, who was taking it to the string. I am ashamed ! Thank you for your valuable information !

What a beautiful 'thing' ! Our specialists will inform us I think, in the meantime thank you for this original picture

> Harmony >Reply Aug 15, 2007
I don't know what fruit this is ? In any case, the stuff in corkscrew, it is simply the string shiny which is used to wrap the gift packages !
