Hello viv09. Datura is sometimes called "trumpet of angels". Note that the genus Datura does not correspond to the plant described here. It is a brugmansia. To find one, the datura flower trumpets have built and are usually annual plants while Brugmansia flowers were drooping and trumpets are perennials. This plant is native to tropical America and Central America South.

The photo is badly taken, it does not value the flower which is very beautiful.

I made a mistake of author (Lilac instead of Mimi) there are so many photos to see, getting lost sometimes, and Lilac made me a table welcome to the site FEI so nice and worked) For this photo you say toxic ? the beauty is sometimes a trap, but' that any wine as long as it is drunk', it is almost-it's unreal (colour of petals).

Very nice picture of this pink flesh Brugmensia, wrongly named Datura, flowering shrub pending the pretty nickname 'trumpets of angels'. Originally from Mexico, is an ornamental plant but beware, it is very dangerous and must warn children never to touch either the flowers or the plant as a whole.

This flower of datura is very large and toxic, yes, but we forgave him, and you don't touch with the eyes as it is beautiful.
