Great primatic spring 001

Author 'Tsouret' A voir (Id 64556 ) : The surchauffee water basin has more than 85 C is located in Yellowstone national park. It is the largest known hot spring has this day. A diameter of 75 metres, it is in majority composed of sulfur and iron oxide. Thermophilic organisms variously colored live and tints the warm waters of the geante pot. Every minute, more than two thousand litres of liquid burning rise from the bowels of the Earth and come complete this volcanic basin to the shimmering, changing nuances but much less pleasant odours. : 19:

Your photo illustrates your detailed comment, it just lacks the sign 'swimming prohibited'

This image is also very beautiful, especially by its colors and its documentary value. I'd be curious to know if the forest in the background is a wood cutting, in view of the trunks of felled trees, or if it is because of this source of hot water, releasing vapors of sulfur.

The trunks of the trees are the victims of fires which are quite common here.
The policy for the management of the park is to let nature in the state which gives, for us europeans, an image of desolation rather unpleasant. Despite this impression I adhere to this idea that allows us to see how to react between the various actors of a nature that is really 'wild'.

The forests petrified, the mud volcanoes, fumaroles and hot springs are common in Yellowstone. We can say that the geysers, in this place of America, are of the geyser springs, hot and intermittent, which characterize in general the regions of volcanic activity. They emit a large amount of water, mainly caused by water and fumes sulphurous. This photo documentary is the perfect illustration of this. Thank you sharing
