Guise familistere

Author 'Razelle' : Here is the Guise Godin Familistere in the Aisne. Godin, relatively known for its stoves and stoves is a little less for the Familistere. This huge complex of 10 hectares was built between 1857 and 1883. There were 500 comfortable homes, a theatre, of schools, a library, stores, a wash House, a swimming pool, a gymnasium... And all for the workers of the plant.

Hello, I'm looking for an overview of Familistery. This photo lacks contrast. Thank you for putting online.

I have never visited the Familistère created by Jean-Baptiste-André Godin since I've never visited this part of Picardy. I like your way of presenting it to the old postcard. : 6:: 4:

Very beautiful photograph : the style of postcard 1900 is very well done.

Beautiful photo representing the top of the familistère central, a way to see it... I always have fun looking at the pictures of the familistère.

Work in sepia tones for this nice building ! It feels a little work with computer software. There must be plenty of beautiful photos to be done in this complex.
