Author 'Bouba' (Id 51436 ) : A Centrotus the demi-diable cornutus, approximately 9 mm macro photo. These small cicadas, jerky Philenes, blood Spittlebugs or bossues cicadas, are all of the remarkable jumping and often know to be forgotten in the vegetation.(sorry for the update this insect moves all the time). : 14:

Hi, I appreciate the nuance of colors green, yellow. The cicada is not clearly visible, the better, I appreciate a frontal view. Thank you.

It is hard to make a great photo of a subject that doesn't move.

It is a very good idea to give so much detail because I would have never imagined that this strange insect has, in fact, that 9mm. It is all the more remarkable for having taken this excellent photo.

It is a small cicada : 'demi-devil' (Centrotus cornutus), and I find it to be much development on this rod, knowing that, in reality, it only measures a few mm ! The 'Bokeh' is the perfect sharpness. Thank you Mrtieu to know this technical term. Bravo Bouba and thank you for this photo well documentary. Good end of year celebrations and best wishes for 2008.

We don't see too much of what a beast it is ! But without a doubt it's because we know evil !!! In any case, bravo for the technique, and the beautiful bokeh (blur the background)...
