Insect fly Eristalinus sepulchralis



Author 'Nicole.barberon' (Id 19278 ) : That is some time, I have this species of fly photo. It is very busy in a heart of small Daisy, I gladly for a horsefly but I am not sure, I find that the insect appears on petaloidal white.

"Sepulchral Eristalinus" that is his name, and it's a hoverfly.

I do not think this is a horsefly. Its antennae in the shape of the spoons make me think of a fly of the family of the syrphid, perhaps to be confirmed by an expert !!! Sharp picture and well framed.
