1: It gives me the shivers to watch. They do not seem comfortable with these wasps their yellow patterns. Thank you.

Photo taken remarkably showing the nest and wasps at work 3! What patience it took to fit well the nest and insects ... I hope the photographer did not bite!

Great photo! Very useful for comparing nests: I just found a nest in an almost identical 'construction' of land (?) Also made by the same type of insect.

It is not so much the photo but rather the horrible nasty ugly wasp, the photo it is very successful to the point that I look at it with a certain distance.

Salvation to the one who puts the pictures, I find it to be much. I am a bit afraid this morning I met a drone and I killed him, I don't like but I wanted it to go back outside because he has lost the orientation, it is for this, but here it is, this is salvation to you.

Good observations of the Fan belfortain and Evalias : in one photo you can see the different stages of a wasp, and the wasp itself under all the seams ! Congratulations for this photo (which may be of interest to a publisher for a book of Science-Nat', or in the kind...) !

Superb shot that shows us the activity of a nest of wasps. It is very interesting because we don't have the opportunity to see often so closely.

This photo is amazing because, with three wasps in full work, the minute details of the insect are given with great sharpness. Very nice photo documentation : bravo and thank you.

> Evalias >Reply Feb 03, 2007
Cocoons, larvae and wasps, different stages of their life that made this image to document teaching interesting, well done and thank you.

Yes it is a little scary to me that I had bad ezpériences with these insects. Your picture is very well.

This is a new proof that the nature is superior, quite fascinating. Beautiful result.

A beautiful macro of a wasp nest, it lacks a bit of sharpness and the background is not very aesthetic. But it is still a good image.

I'm a little repeat what has already been said Astrid, but so what. Me neither I don't like these bêbêtes when I turn around, but, yes, this picture is... Beautiful !

'it'd almost be afraid'... Why 'almost' ? No, the photo is so successful that it makes me cold in the back : I'm afraid of wasps ! Soon, I'm going !!!

> Sanka [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Feb 02, 2007
Photo very informative, the wasp nest is half-empty.

> Mydo [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Feb 02, 2007
Impressive, but the photo is perhaps a little pale, no ?

> Emie.h [G] [P] [C] >Reply Feb 02, 2007
Me it makes me more than almost fear. I find your shot very successful and original.

> Astrid >Reply Feb 02, 2007
I do not support these beasts, but I have to admit that is a heck of a nice picture : what is the accuracy and it's quite fascinating, I had never seen a nest so close.
