A superb macro, I find that the colors of the background in perfect harmony with those of the dragonfly. The sharpness is very good, as for the framing, it suits me well.

Hello my Guylaine. We had the same idea to make a photo of a large Dragonfly, and more, on the same day. A pity that thou hast not had the opportunity of the diagonal. That said, it's superb sharpness.

It seems to be the dragonfly depressed (Simply depressa). The male has an abdomen blue, that of the female is brown and yellow. It is the only dragonfly that has a big black spot at the base of each of her wings (spot triangle of the hind wings, and stain rather rectangular elongated forewings). The dragonfly is depressed and owes its name to the shape of its abdomen is short, flat and very wide. Beautiful shot

Nice photo of this dragonfly, a perfect sharpness. Your patience has been rewarded. Bravo for this cliché.

Patience is always rewarded... Your picture is beautiful but I regret a little lack of brightness...

I would have preferred to see this dragonfly on a rock, but we don't have the choice ! A dragonfly with outstretched wings and very sharp !

The dragonflies we play dirty tricks ! It is believed to have it and then hop I disagree with Daniel this time I really like the little diagonal formed by the stone in the corner that gives relief and depth to the taking diving. On a background of stone, the wings of the dragonfly give an impression of the lace.

Bravo the dragonfly is in the box and the result is very good, it just takes the buffer to extend the stone in the corner gray.
