Seeing this beautiful family, I can't help but humming :

'In my cottage
To live a happy life
How many should there be?
It takes two
Yes, my house,
I prefer it
With you, yes with you
In the land of the kings. '

Yes, you see, I kept a mind of a child.

There are a lot of similarities with the firm blocks of the massif central (Auvergne). Same design and argumentation of the house, roof and even a fireplace. The stone used is from the same foundation, the old continent hercynien, which may explain it... Beautiful photo, I have the chance to live in the same, but in the Auvergne region.

I love these old stone houses with a thatched roof typical of Brittany. The sun is already high in the sky, which explains the light a little bit strong. But the photo is nice. Thank you

A farmhouse with a thatched roof is very present in the good old days of our ancestors. House in the countryside of the ancient farms. Very nice thank you.

I love this style of house, a heritage to keep, I find, here also, there was a place where he kept all the houses in this style, it is a huge park, I've been a few times, but I do not go back more on the name

She is beautiful this farmhouse, with its thatched roof, typical to Britain. It is a beautiful picture clear and well presented.

It is very beautiful this typical house and the presentation I like with the tree in the background and under this beautiful blue sky. Congratulations Claire and thank you.

I love the old stone and especially this beautiful farmhouse despite its exposure to a light a little hard.

Very nice photo, I like very much to see these old stone houses, depending on the region, they all have their particular style. But as you say the framing is a little too tight, you could fit wider it would have nothing taken away at your pretty picture, on the contrary.
