Speaking of panning, I just test 'panavue image assembler' 3, with 4 and even 5 photos, test quite conclusive.

With Photoshop, you have the possibility to do panning with two, three or four photos. This is the function 'Photomerge'. You do your views by shifting the target so that your shots overlap of 20% mini. The software makes the connections often automatically.

Marseille is a beautiful city but I find that the photo is a little bushy not leading or reference points on the photo, there is no conductive line ; excuse me for these comments but they must be before all in a constructive way..
