Numbat marsupial Australia 01

Author 'WebMaster FEI' A voir (Id 34387 ) : Photo of a numbat. The numbat is a marsupial less known than its cousins celebrated the koala and the Kangaroo. However, it provides a wonderful benefit to the photographer. It is an animal that goes by a beating. He made 3 step, freeze 3 seconds, redone 3 step, freezes again... Etc. A real star that takes the installation as a professional model: 19:

+: Nice picture, I love animals. This marsupial is able to eat more than 20,000 termites per day. Like all marsupials, it has no teeth. : 4:: 13:

And voila it lacks the tail and nobody is happy I had never seen, it is an animal, elegant, and very beautiful in color.
> Nguyendomy >Reply May 04, 2007
It is superb this animal, a pity that we see his full tail (is it so long that it ) The blur in the foreground is attracting too much attention
> Marcel >Reply May 04, 2007
A little too much foreground blur and the subject is a little cramped.(tail cut) The animal is nice and looks elegant.

A fine animal, well framed, even if the tip of the tail is amputated. My only gripe is the too great brightness that gives too much shine.

It's funny, I had never seen and still less heard. It has a coat that resembles that of the coati I think... He is very cute and bravo for this beautiful photo.

Welcome to FEI : this marsupial 'Numbat' (fasciatus of Myrmecobius) has almost disappeared ; it would have been a shame because he is cute and his coat is gorgeous, medium brown with white stripes and dark brown. Thanks to its slender snout, it can engulf a collection of approximately 20 000 termites a day ! Beautiful photo of an animal, in principle saved !
