Ornithogalum 2448

Author 'Cath' : Small flowers of ornithogalum, or Ornithogalum montanum or star of Bethlehem who invited all only for a few years. They are so pretty that I have any custody and I now have full-the rock garden. It is a bulbous perennial small blooming in but then including the foliage becomes very quiet the rest of the time, that is why, finally, it is not very invasive. Acknowledge that these small stars are very beautiful and that it me was hard to resist their!

We just offer it, can I keep them in the pot or surrender them to the end of the summer in a bigger pot? How to keep them in winter? I keep it as a houseplant? Thank you in advance: 5:

Titin, no, this is not a houseplant ... is a plant that is very hardy and can live perfectly outside until - 15 ° ... I never tried to keep them in pots but I guess you must if the pot is deep enough for the roots in the ground deep enough. As a precaution, for you I will try to keep some seeds and plant them in pots and open ground.

Hello Brigotte ... For my part, I do not buy them, they came all alone! They flourish, according to the time, about a month sometimes more if it is not too hot ... thank you your way and your comment.

They are very beautiful as your flowers. My sister-in-law has put it on the edge but as for me, I don't like too, because they open at about eleven o'clock, and close to 15 or 16 hours (the popular name for Lady eleven o'clock). But I like it. MIMI

The flowers do not stick out enough on the pile of pebbles. A close-up on two or three flowers would have been better suited.
