Beautiful image of this glacier that I know to be admired by hiking the well-known 'three passes', in the opposite direction of this group.

Good response Mb33470 ! I do not think that there is used a polarizing. There are those who have not exceeded 1500 altitude who are unaware of the compromise techniques in the photo is altitude ! (jock !) It is a very beautiful photo of a mountain. Good rendering of the snow. Levaleton.

In fact, above about 2000 metres altitude, the composition of the atmosphere is different from lower altitudes and this phenomenon is very common in nice weather.. No need for polarizing... Here it is at about 3200 meters of altitude.

What a superb panorama, it is great, the hike was supposed to be magical, with it under the eyes.

A very beautiful snowy landscape ! This is not so much the position of the walkers is disturbing, but the sky so dark ! Is this natural ?

Normal as the sky is so dark, because even without a polarizer, the measurement of the light on the snow and its strong reverberation leads to an under-exposure of the elements in moderately bright. I confess that I prefer to this phenomenon (and personally search for it by having the habit of under-exposing on purpose) to that of the skies burnt (unintentionally), unfortunately, all too often seen.

Apart from this dominant magenta to the left of the area covered by snow, and the position of the hikers a little too central for my taste, I like a lot the look quite stripped of the composition, and more importantly, the sky a very deep blue and saturated. A nice breath of fresh air !

It is very beautiful and I always enjoy the mountain, everything is well managed even at the level of the snow, but at the level of the sky the polarizer (I think) gave too much effect, and dark the sky.
