Downy Woodpecker does not live in Europe. It is different from the pic epeiche. Nests are still hollow in dead trees.
Today, I took the head of a pic epeiche (Belgium). These birds look

I love the position of this peak.
From time to time, I have one that has just refuel when it gets too cold.
However, as it is against the day, unfortunately, I can not make photo.

Ha ! It is nice your pic-wood, but believe me I will not annoy me I had one that came picocher on a steel roof and it's around six in the morning but they are beautiful anyway.

I remember that this is the first bird that I photographed during my stay in Quebec. Nice shot , agree to the vertical alignment.

This is my favorite of your series with a net super on the subject, nice colors in good light, the eye is bright, the attitude is good. To quibble a single night party a little to the reading of the image, it is the one on the left with the tree blur. May be cropping to the square, or even vertical ? A beautiful congratulations for this pic. Jean-Mi.

Beautiful photo Guylaine, I love this pic of profile on a background of blue sky and a nice bark, well done !
> Isabelle S.B [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 11, 2012
Of the 3, this is the one I prefer, as the profile puts it more in value, and the light is pleasant. Just as the stresses D. Marsim, I would have framed to the vertical, because the blurred part eye-catching

This bird is beautiful color. and thank you for the present. Damage to the big blur on the left but good, it does not spoil the shot.

It is true that the left side is a bit of a blur but your decision is very beautiful and net of this bird on this tree trunk thank you
> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 11, 2012
This huge tree trunk must be an impressive reserve for this splendid and net minor peak. Beautiful presentation : bravo Guylaine and thank you.

A beautiful time and a beautiful bird, you are spoiled. This pic taken in one of its positions favorite is sharp and crisp. Guylaine and thank you for this beautiful photo.
> Ninik [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 11, 2012
For the right-hand side, I give you 10 on 10 but the other side is very fuzzy to my taste.
> D.marsim [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 11, 2012
The position is interesting and this part of the image sharp. You should have cropped the view to the vertical to avoid the blurred part on the left.
> Tsouret [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Mar 11, 2012
I like her position is specific to the species. He is about to bite the bark of the tree to find a few insects.
