It is always difficult to take the subjects from the front or from above. The eye does not see the third dimension (depth) and is subjected to a solid which takes away from the value to the subject.

The cup of brass is beautifully highlighted on the structure of wood. The colors harmonize beautifully : bravo and thank you.

This is a promising start, bravo.
I look forward to seeing this cup with the incense and the smoke rises, but a bit of profile.

For your beginnings with your new APN, it is rather successful. Prospects once straightened out, and it is ok.

For a first, you're not going in the simplicity ! For this courage, bravo ! Recognize that the topic is dry to the lay person and difficult to treat. Me, I would have put B&w with the contrast to give strength to the design and the material. And above all, it is necessary to straighten the perspective (very easy here).
