It is a beautiful image of a pianist who plays for pleasure. Original scene of the principal subject in color and background N & B. I appreciate.

Who tries nothing has nothing. For this image, I say bravo my chip. Continues to show us about that are coming out a little out of the ordinary.

I don't know if it rolls for him, but your idea is original and the B&w and color wowed me.(For the method which speaks to you Marion, MB33470, I recommend you VERY strongly to use layers and masks. At some time, you will not be able to get you to spend )
The photo could be better, but nice !
Continues the Miss !

Interesting as the subject of a wandering musician with its pretty piano. The photo is not so bad. There's not a hundred ways to photograph a given subject.

I talk not of the faults already mentioned. I like this picture because it is original and the piano is a musical instrument that I like a lot

Very good idea, the music is part of everyone's life, pity there is a lack of the net

The sweater makes the difference ! An image attractive that has a lot of charm, I put my mite into the hat

I encourage you on this path, the N/B is associated with the colour gives a style that is pleasant to the picture.
The wheels of the piano break a little poetry, but I note that we see almost the reflection of the gaze of the musician in the piano.
I submit, therefore, a TB+ in the hat.

I am in total agreement with the comment of Nicole. This is a good topic and it is true that sometimes it is not what we want.

This is an original photo, admittedly it has some flaws, but it lets look with pleasure.

If you show us the watches is that you love it and you would like to that you love them as well. I like it despite the small imperfections It is true that taken a little further it would have been better as said by Marcel

The essential has been said, so I bornerais to say that the framing is too tight.
As a general rule, it is necessary to leave at least 10% of the dimension of the image between the subject and the edge.

You can love the framing tight, and a little less numbers and strict rules ! ...

Yes I love the framing tight, we all have our own little tricks as some say...
Finally, thank you for your comments, the photo is not very clear I know, but I was shaken up because there was a lot a lot of world
So I show you still the best^^
For the passage in black and white... It is true that I learned with this technique, and suddenly I was there !

Thank you for this picture, because this is the first time I see a pianist in the street.
> Mb33470 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Feb 26, 2008
The treatment is perfectible (outlines to review on the left of the piano) but it is an image that draws the eye and is well composed... Like the music that one perceives listening ! After editing : very well.

Yes I had a small problem with my contour on the left... But when I did I saw nothing.. Oops... I may have sent the wrong, in fact...
Finally, my 1st passage in black and white with color...
Thank you for your comment !!

However, I do not understand the technique of any pass in N&B and recoloriser then what needs to be done. Why not just de-saturate certain parts ? Because of the lower quality of the N&B in this case, sometimes ?
It is true that we all have our little habits, and I have a tendency to choose the fastest which is not necessarily the best... by
