Rhipsalidopsis Cactus

Author 'Papatte' : I think it's a Rhipsalidopsis. It is a cactee. ECSR cactees have flowers often battered, which appear solitary has the tip of branches and which last three or four days.

The background goes well with this flower. As against, it is a pity that part of it is too on the edge of the image. : 4:

Too much unknown, the cactus of Easter are of Rhipsalidopsis (also called Hatiora) hybrids. The culture of the cactus, Easter is easy. It takes a compost acid well-drained soil kept constantly damp, and all in a sunny position. They are very easy to find in garden centers. Superb shot !

I believe that the pistil and the stamens are not sharp. The color is violent, almost surreal ! The black background facilitates the observation of the transparency. This is a photo that draws the eye.

I like a lot ! It was already pretty without clicking on the photo, but once zoomed, it is the apotheosis ! The flowers of the cactus always have colours that are very pronounced. Bravo !

It can be, in effect, a Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri also called schlumbergera blooming in general, at the end of the year or early January. If it blooms in the moment, I tend to think it's an Epiphyllum, or phylocactus that the botanists also call today Nopalxochia blooming of day and the Epiphyllums are nocturnal. Bravo for the photo !
