What a beautiful picture. You can see the grace of this animal, his royal strength. What a wonderful job and this facility we have to contemplate all this beauty alive thanks to photographers who see through the eyes of their soul. Thanks Bravo. Célessentia

Thank you very much for your appreciations, thank you also for the exact terminology of this raptor.

> Le Fada de Marseille [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 11, 2008
The terminology 'falcon' not existing, I actually think that it is the lanner Falcon (Falco biarmicus). It is a bird of prey, diurnal, of which the beak is blue-grey, short and curved from the base. The top of the head is wearing a cap that was red. The front is white. Her belly is rather pale in which the dominant is white, cream or red. This description seems to correspond well to this magnificent photo. Beautiful raptor !

This raptor is beautiful by the sharpness of its plumage, its eyes and its beak powerful and hooked. It seems to me that it would be more of the 'lanner Falcon' (Falco biarmicus). Anyway it is a beautiful photo : bravo Romaric and Thank you.

No small beast is not easy to photograph. Especially when it is in motion.

The eye is dark, but the photo is very beautiful, and your falcon is royal wallpaper, bravo and thank you
The whites are the limits at the bottom but nothing of penalizing.

A crop by cutting a little to the right would seem to me better suited. The picture is very clear. You can slightly lighten the eye.
Beautiful image.
