Small sparrows 039 European Greenfinch

Author 'Daniel.chastel' A voir (Id 41620 ) : It was by chance that we have discovered this nest, my wife cut the laurier when it adopted before the nest and I was called and here's the photo. Their mother was of a dark green color! ... But this was not a Sparrow.

A very old photo, but I could not resist this little creature, with hair unkempt and beak wide open. They are not really beautiful but so cute and sweet.

I wish I could have the opportunity to make such pictures ...
> Evie [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jun 12, 2009
They are not well frankly beautiful baby birds, but the appeal here, is so powerful! Good 'before', the mouthpiece at the top of the picture as to receive their rations more quickly, it's moving and 'shouting' truth!

Hello Daniel, I think these are the greenfinches, if they are small, in other words, canaries in the wild, not sophisticated. Very moving, your photo.
> B.farnat >Reply Dec 28, 2007
When I remember my childhood it was the nests of the birds that I was looking for regardless of race.
> Pinson >Reply Aug 13, 2007

> Christian barbier34 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Aug 05, 2007
This stage of life is very beautiful, and apparently these chicks are hungry. Mother nature gives us sometimes the opportunity to make such an image. Bravo
> Romye >Reply Aug 01, 2007
Hoping that the mother has returned to feed her babies, but I think so ! I love birds, but I confess I do not find chicks very pretty : they are almost transparent and one can follow the intestinal transit. This photo is beautiful and touching
> Myrdhin [G] [P] [C] >Reply Jul 31, 2007
That is beautiful. Beautiful moment of solitude. Long lives to them. And the next time, be careful in cutting the laurel.
> Goldwing >Reply Jul 29, 2007
Kudos to your wife of you have used to make this beautiful photo
> Rotine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 29, 2007
Daniel what photo, you see how they scream of hunger these poor children, I can tell you that the two nests that I have near my window 1 of swallows and sparrows, they are born too small and well the parents are coming and going to feed these hungry people. Frankly bravo for this photo.
> Tsouret [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jul 29, 2007
The skin of the neck is so thin that you can see the color of the last beakful, that his mother gave to him.
> Nicole.barberon [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Jul 29, 2007
