Author 'Cortes.sandy' : Lunar landscape on the plain of sand one would think is on the moon. Seeing this photo, we can imagine what may be the volcano Piton de la fournaise.

+: The panoramic view is not too distorted.

-:The lack of depth of field. This lack of depth.

Too bad the two cars parked below. Lack of depth and relief. Either take the photo with the sun low, or put a filter.

If there was no road design, we might think about the red planet. It is a place that seems quite hostile, not to fall out of gas.

It's easy when at every turn, I saw the Plaine des Sables ... I've said a word and I started to cry so beautiful ... There is no word to describe this unique place in the world ... The Meeting quoi!

Very beautiful photo ! Mimi and I have crossed the RUN from North to South in 9 days, it was our way of making our Grand RAID. In arriving at this place(plain of sands)there was no water or food, and the fatigue began to be felt. Fortunately there is the cottage of the volcano not far away. We finished at Lower Valley on the knees** SUPER !!! A very good souvenir !!!
