I'm not really agree with Marcel. I've never seen it written anywhere that there was a speed minimum and a maximum for a photo of the waterfall. Every shot is special. You can make nice pictures at 1/2000 as at 30 sec expo. I do believe that it is right to limit photography.
Here the thread of water is good, it is the overexposure of the background that fails.

This photo gives an impression of mysticism, and these blue...
I thank the author of this wonderful gift.

An original effect and a framework is nice for this stunt a little too blue.

I like a lot and the frame is nice...

A waterfall that does not look the same in reality. Taking a little too much of the face and the speed too slow to have a good fillet on the water.
> Marcel >Reply Feb 09, 2008
The speed is a bit slow, it is a fact cotton on the cast !
The best time to dare to fall to 1/15th = 1/30th and if the water is fast = 1/60th of a second.
The shooting level deprives you of the arrival of water from a solid. An angle of 45° relative to the surface is considered suitable.

Marcel, thank you again for these details. I was looking for precisely.
There is too much of a blue cast and as already said, not enough speed.

The effect on the water of the speed is wanted, I took several shots with different speeds, and as it turns out, is spun to water I like it as is. Even if it is not real it gives an atmosphere to the photo(I'm a fan of Gnomes and other goblins )The angle to 45 was hard to have (big Rock slippery), and I can not play on the colors as I would like (Photoshop is all new to me)
But thank you for your valuable advice I'm going to persist !!

A little blue but it is lovely. To do some touch-ups would make it even better.

She is pretty but the blue cast bothers me a bit.
Me too I'm going to try to shoot stunts with the speed of 1/5, 1/15.
